Insight | Dean Huiling JIANG Addresses on the Four Major Factors in the Disciplinary Construction of Discipline Inspection and Supervision

On December 3-4, 2022, the “Summit Forum on Chinese Modernization and Development of Legal Education” was held at Shanghai Jiaotong University Law School. Prof. Huiling JIANG, Dean of Tongji Law School, was invited to participate in this forum and gave a keynote speech entitled “Four Factors to be Considered in the Disciplinary Construction of Discipline Inspection and Supervision” in the sub-forum of “Disciplinary Construction of Discipline Inspection and Supervision in the New Era”.

This forum is one of the important activities of the 20th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Law School, focusing on “Cultivation of foreign rule of law talents”, “Cultivation of doctoral degree in law”, “Interdisciplinary intersection and digital jurisprudence in the new liberal arts perspective”, “Disciplinary Intersection and Digital Jurisprudence in the New Liberal Arts Perspective”, “Disciplinary Construction of Discipline Inspection in the New Era” and other cutting-edge themes. Guests from the Chinese Law Society, Shanghai Law Society, and more than 80 law schools and research institutes across China gathered in the clouds to contribute their wisdom to the development of Chinese-style modernization and legal education. Professor Wenxian ZHANG, member of the party group and director of the Academic Committee of the Chinese Law Society, attended the forum and delivered a speech. Famous law experts from the academic field, such as Guangquan ZHOU, Yi WANG, Li YAO, Jian WANG, Yuji LI, Weidong SHI, Xiaohong LIU, Jianlong YAO, Qiang HAN, Lidong CAI, Song YANG, Xinmiao JIANG, Jingbo WANG, Yanlei CHENG, Yongan LIAO and Beiping CHU, attended the forum and delivered speeches on the issues of constructing an autonomous knowledge system of Chinese law, foreign-related rule of law They expressed their opinions and views on the construction of China’s autonomous knowledge system, the cultivation of foreign-related rule of law and the construction of interdisciplinary disciplines.
