Prof. Glöckner of Konstanz University Taught German Obligation Law at Tongji

From March 19th to 21st, 2018, Professor Jochen Glöckner from University of Konstanz, visited Tongji Law School and taught the German obligation law for postgraduates of Sino-German double master degree program. During the three-day concentrated lectures, Professor Glöckner introduced the basic principles of German obligation law, the relationship between claims and debts, payment obstacles and consequences, risk transfer of contracts, termination of contracts and damages for breach of contract.

After detailed explanation of Professor Glöckner, students have a further understanding on the key provisions of the German Civil Code, and have stronger abilities to apply them. At the same time, through cases analysis, explanation and training, students have also learned the rigorous legal thinking and legal logic involved in German law.
