From April 11st to 13rd, 2018, Reinhard Singer, Professor of Humboldt University of Berlin, visited the Law School of Tongji University, bringing a three-day German obligation law course for postgraduate students of double degree program. In the class, Professor Reinhard Singer taught the students about the capacity of civil conduct, civil liability, tort damages, damages of breach of contract, third party liability, unjust enrichment and its return, etc. Through the three-day study, students had a further understanding of German obligation law, and also exercised their legal thinking and legal logic, laying a foundation for their future study in Germany.
Professor Reinhard Singer was the former Dean of the Law School at Humboldt University of Berlin and one of the co-sponsors of the master’s double degree program between Tongji Law School and Law School of Humboldt University. Besides the lectures, Professor Singer also communicated with students about their study and life in Germany, encouraging them to improve their German language and to lay a solid legal foundation. He also looked forward to seeing these classmates again in Germany soon.
