Recalling the Famous Philosophy of Tongji Law School——Prof.FAN Yang

FAN Yang (1899-1962) was born in Jinhua, Zhejiang. He went to Japan in 1916 and graduated from Tokyo Imperial University Law School in 1928. After returning to China, Prof.FAN worked in Zhejiang Police Officer School, Nanjing National Central University, Anhui University and Sun Yat-sen University.

In February 1949, Prof.FAN became a professor and director of the Administrative Law Division of Tongji Law School, and later became a professor at Fudan University and a research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.

Prof.FAN's academic research covers a wide range of fields, such as administrative law, civil law, and legal philosophy, etc. His representative works include General Administrative Law, Police Administrative Law, Essentials of Inheritance Law, etc.
