The Public Welfare Legal Service Project of Tongji Law School Was funded by the Central Fund

Recently, the student public welfare legal services and legal aid projects established by Tongji Law School have received funding from the central level and enjoy the 2021 financial support of the China Lottery Fund.

The central special lottery public welfare fund for legal aid projects was approved by the State Council, and the Ministry of Finance arranged from the central lottery public welfare fund to support legal assistance for migrant workers, the disabled, the elderly, women and minors' rights protection. In the application process, Tongji Law School has received the guidance and help from W&H Law Firm (Beijing branch) and the Legal Aid Workstation of W&H Law Firm (Shanghai).

Leading by the Dean, Prof.JIANG Huiling, Tongji Law School will integrate the strength of undergraduates and graduate students based on the experience of the existing legal umbrella volunteer service team to create a public welfare legal service team.

This cooperation is a mile stone taken by Tongji Law School in practical teaching and focusing on public welfare services. It will play an important role in improving legal education and the quality of talent training.
